Conch Hill Market.
Conch Hill Market serves Little Havana and nearby Brickell-Downtown with value shopping in a designer setting. A combination of buildings from the 1920s, 1940s and 1960s provides more than 20,000 square feet of retail space for a modern Goodwill Superstore.
Not your father’s thrift, this Goodwill has designer and everyday clothing for men, women, and children as well as housewares in a setting that is attractive and organized. While the interior design goes beyond typical thrift store style, the true art is on the exterior.
The Good Wall is a curated mural project on the wall alongside the Goodwill Superstore of Calle Ocho. Individual squares of the mural are being painted with signature artwork by local artists and collectively make up a high-profile mural that spans the west side of the building and wraps around to the front of the building on SW 8th Street.
Invader, the famed French urban artist known for his ceramic tile mosaics modeled on the pixelated art of 1970s–1980s video games, created a Space Invader for the Calle Ocho part of the wall.
Blek le Rat, a French graffiti artist described as the "Father of Stencil Graffiti" by famed street artist Banksy, also created a special piece for the Good Wall – at the entrance to the Goodwill. The wall is part of Barlington Group’s longstanding support of the arts as a way of anchoring and celebrating the comeback of revitalized urban corridors and spaces.
Value shopping continues immediately east of Goodwill at Dollar Tree, a national discount retailer with 10,000 square feet of home goods, groceries, party supplies and general store items. The Good Wall multi-paneled mural continues on the eastern façade of this building.
