Little Havana Arts Building.

Little Havana Arts Building Ocho Marketplace is a pair of 1920s and 1940s structures that house some of the most popular retail and dining establishments in Little Havana. It is the cornerstone of the renaissance of the Calle Ocho corridor. The World-Famous Ball & Chain live music venue, bar, nightclub, and eatery; iconic Azucar Ice Cream and treasured Little Havana Cigar Factory drive the pulse of the neighborhood from the space.

The Ball & Chain revives a legendary nightclub in a lovingly-restored, historic setting. Craft cocktails, live music, and Cuban fare – both classic and nuevo – draw locals and visitors alike. Out back, the largest open-air event space in all of Little Havana features a tropical atmosphere with outdoor bar and scattered coves of seating. A stage, shaped like a pineapple, features live music that ranges from national, regional to local acts. The Ball & Chain has been rated a top 10 bar in myriad publications and has drawn national praise from publications including the New York Times.

Azucar Ice Cream, founded nearly a decade ago as artisanal ice cream and sorbet boutique, is inspired by South Florida's diverse cultures, its subtropical climate and a passion for sabor Latino. Using the highest quality ingredients, many locally-sourced, tropical and traditional ice cream confections are created just like abuela (grandmother) used to make. The store is instantly-recognizable for its pastel, five-scoop, 3-D ice cream cone covering its façade.

Little Havana Cigar Factory carries a wide range of brands – from affordable to luxury. The roomy cigar lounge is filled with the aroma of artisanal cigars, some rolled in-store by experts.  The polished wood store features comfy sofas, endless displays of fine and rare cigars and a free cup of cafecito to sip while you browse or light up. It also sells humidors, cutters, pipes, and every conceivable accessory to compliment the true made in Miami cigar experience.

The trio of spaces, totaling just under 9,000 square feet, is arguably the most valuable real estate on world-renown Calle Ocho, Miami’s most-authentic main street experience. It is positioned at Domino Park, with the most-famous domino players in the world, Domino Plaza (where free festivals take place) and the Tower Theater, a magnificent art deco movie house preserved and restored, the screens art films in Spanish and English.
