For the last 12 years, renowned Miami-based celebrity, advertising, ballet and fashion photographer Gio Alma’s images have illustrated the covers and pages of numerous publications and advertising campaigns around the world. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on June 6, 1971. He relocated to the United States in 1996. Alma is in love with life, his profession, his wife, fashion stylist Marcela Alma, and their son, Luca and daughter Gia. Even though he does a lot of his work from Miami, he is constantly traveling to assignments in Los Angeles and New York. His photography has been ranked among the top national photographers. Winner of the 10th annual urban wheel award for his Pontiac “50 Most Beautiful People” print ad campaign, Gio is known for getting the best out of each subject he photographs and being keen on creating images based on original concepts and ideas.
